On the 5th May the RECODE Network team traveled to Taichung, Taiwan for the 50th CIRP Manufacturing Systems Conference. We presented 5 papers on the special session: Re-Distributed Manufacturing Pathways to Impact.
The papers are now published on CIRP Procedia, an Open Access Journal.

The RECODE Network was present at RESOURCE Event in London. We conducted a workshop on the opportunities, challenges and the role of digital technologies towards circular and re-distributed models of consumption and production. The workshop was a success having about 60 participants. Participants views will be recorded on our Innovation Roadmap.

On 2nd and 3rd March 2016 the RECODE Network hosted a two-day Sandpit to fund three feasibility studies. The Event was held at The SWAN Hotel in Bedford. The event had 31 participants from different UK Universities, industry and other organisations including, Unilever, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and Innovate UK. As part of the Green Week at Cranfield University, Dr Fiona Charnley and Dr Mariale Moreno presented the RECODE Network and the initial findings of the Circular Innovation and Re-distributed Manufacturing Feasibility Study.
